Luciano, Giuliana, Gilberto and Carlo Benetton together launched the Benetton Group in 1965. Today the Group operates in 120 countries through 5,000 retail outlets.
Luciano Benetton. Born in Treviso in 1935, today he is chairman of Benetton Group, which is listed on the Milan, Frankfurt and New York stock exchanges. He is also a member of the board of Edizione Holding, the family’s holding company. He was a senator of the Italian Republic from 1992 to 1994. He has four children.
Giuliana Benetton. Born in Treviso in 1937, she is a member of the board of Edizione Holding, the family’s holding company, and of Benetton Group. She is married with four children.
Gilberto Benetton. Born in Treviso in 1941, he is the chairman of Edizione Holding, chairman of Autogrill, and member of the board of Benetton Group. He is the vice-chairman of Olimpia, a major shareholder of Telecom Italia of which he is vice-chairman. He is also a director of Autostrade, Mediobanca, Pirelli, Infrastrutture e Sviluppo and Lloyd Adriatico. He is married with two daughters.
Carlo Benetton. Born in Treviso in 1943, he is the vice-chairman of Benetton Group, of Edizione Holding and a member of the board of Benetton Group. He is married with four children.
