The Benetton Archive, established at the end of 2009, retraces the stages of Benetton Group’s history from the 1960s to the present day. Integrated into the new multifunctional area of Castrette, the Benetton Studios – a former industrial complex transformed by the architect Tobia Scarpa – has a dual function:
• keeper of the historical memory of Benetton Group and its 60-year heritage as a great international industrial and commercial enterprise;
• workshop of ideas and creativity where the history of tomorrow is built.
The Archive reconstructs the inspirations, values, innovations and stages of the Benetton company history with rigor and with that attitude to experimentation – to looking ahead – which has always distinguished the Group's philosophy.
The Benetton Archive is open during office hours – 9am – 6pm, from Monday to Friday – and accessible by appointment for specialist research.
Requests for guided tours – always by appointment – are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, with priority given primarily to private individuals and organizations in the fashion and communications sector, as well as school groups.
