Ponzano, 30 May 2008 - Benetton Group communicates that, in the period from 26 to 30 May 2008, the Company purchased a total number of 92,597 Benetton ordinary shares at the average price of Euro 8.571, for a total value of Euro 793,625.58.

Details of the transactions on a daily basis:

Following the purchases announced today, Benetton Group holds a total amount of 333,125 treasury shares, equal to 0,182% of the share capital.
