Ponzano, 9 June 2008 - Benetton Group communicates that, in the period from 3 to 6 June 2008, the Company purchased a total number of 214,734 Benetton ordinary shares at the average price of Euro 8.455, for a total value of Euro 1,815,634.95.

Details of the transactions on a daily basis:

Following the purchases announced today, Benetton Group holds a total amount of 547,859 treasury shares, equal to 0.3% of the share capital.
