Nuova Direzione Comunicazione e Relazioni Pubbliche di Benetton Group
Stefano Lai è il Direttore della nuova struttura
Ponzano, 7 novembre 2006. Benetton Group ha creato la nuova Direzione Comunicazione e Relazioni Pubbliche, affidata a Stefano Lai, che proviene dal Gruppo Vodafone. Alla nuova direzione fanno capo le esistenti direzioni di Pubblicità, guidata da Paolo Landi, Stampa e Comunicazione Istituzionale, affidata a Federico Sartor, e la Direzione Stampa e Comunicazione Moda, guidata da Micaela Poss che entra in Benetton dopo una lunga esperienza maturata nel Gruppo Marzotto e in Valentino Fashion Group. Ciascuna direzione ha la responsabilità per il gruppo in tutto il mondo e coordina le attività di comunicazione svolte nei singoli Paesi.
La nuova Direzione Comunicazione si occuperà di sviluppare e coordinare le strategie e le iniziative di immagine e comunicazione per Benetton Group e i suoi marchi nel mondo. Le attività prevedono il raccordo dell’attività di comunicazione con le esigenze del business commerciale, e lo sviluppo e l’ottimizzazione delle sinergie con Fabrica, il centro di ricerca sulla comunicazione del Gruppo.
Stefano Lai, 45 anni, lascia Vodafone dopo 10 anni. Entrato nel 1996 come direttore Relazioni Esterne nell'allora Omnitel, ha continuato a occuparsi di comunicazione, per poi passare, recentemente, alla creazione dei prodotti a contenuto per l'operatore mobile. Il suo ultimo incarico per il gruppo Vodafone è stato di direttore del Centro di Eccellenza sui nuovi prodotti per l'intrattenimento.
