Automated Sorting Systems
The Castrette (Treviso, Italy) logistics hub is equipped with four fully automated sorting systems, designed to efficiently manage orders from approximately 3,000 stores worldwide. Garments – both folded and hanging – are automatically identified, sorted, and packaged before being transferred to the distribution centre via an automated, underground roller-conveyor system that stretches for more than one kilometer.
This system ensures a nonstop, safe, and traceable flow of cargo units, ensuring full integration between sorting operations and subsequent storage and distribution phases.
Automated Distribution Centre
The distribution centre, extending over 30,000 square meters, is a highly automated logistics platform with a total storage capacity of 740,000 boxes and an operating capacity of up to 45,000 boxes a day. Thanks to its high level of automation and process efficiency, the facility operates with a highly specialized and optimally sized team. From this central hub, products are distributed directly to the Group's approximately 3,000 stores worldwide, ensuring high standards of speed, reliability, and service quality.
AutoStore® System
The Castrette logistics hub has implemented an AutoStore® system, designed to support the development of the on-line channel and increase overall operational flexibility. This automated solution allows to optimize storage density, improve picking efficiency, and reduce order fulfilment times.
The system covers a surface area of ​​5,000 square meters where over 65,000 cases can be stored. The facility is equipped with a total of 53 autonomous robots, moving containers to 12 ergonomic picking and packing stations. This configuration increases productivity, reduces operator movements, and ensures high levels of precision, safety, and energy efficiency.
